Well, as usual... there are a lot of smallish updates to different parts of the site for you to check out... The flashing 'updated' marker to the left shows you where to start. We also have the following message from Dan at a Boston radio station for you to read...

ATTENTION JOHN COOPER CLARKE FANS! My name is Dan, and in January (tentative date the 17th) I will be doing a J.C.C. retrospective on WHRB, the college radio station at which I work in Boston. I have spent the last year or so hunting down J.C.C. records, with some success, but for this special radio event I will need EVERYTHING, from the records that I haven't been able to find to any rarities/oddities (taped concerts, demos, interviews, even biographical tidbits you might know, etc. etc.) that people might have.

This is where you come in! The only 7"s I have been able to find are Innocents, Post-War Glamour Girl, and Twat/Splat. I STILL NEED ALL THE REST! And, again, any tapes or info or just about anything related to him would be of enormous help. I am looking to buy and/or borrow such items. If you are kind enough to loan something, I can guarantee 1) an immediate return once the program is over, and 2) that I will give extensive on-air thanks to you, along with a hearty plug for your home page or just about any other endeavor you might have.

We are a station with a very small budget (but a fairly large listenership), and we often depend on the kindness of strangers. Sadly, J.C.C. remains -- as you may know -- a virtually unknown entity here in the States, and it is my mission to do something (albeit small) to try to change that, as he is a personal hero.

    E-mail me at dappel@fas.harvard.edu

    Thanks,
    Dan

There ya go... if anyone wants to help Dan out with some JCC stuff it would be good. Who knows, it may lead to a gig in Boston...

That's about it for this month.

Remember, in keeping with our recent policy of storing older index pages, click here for the last home page, or here for the one before that, or here for the one before that...

...and now a word from a sponsor:

If you want to be added to the e-mail list and advised of news and updates when I send them out, please e-mail here to let me know you want to be included. Please note though that these updates are not sent out whenever I have news of an upcoming gig... you'll have to check back regularly for that because I get them with very short notice sometimes (usually).

That's about it, so check it out. (And please let me know about any typeos you see... Thanks.

Viewing Instructions:

    A) This site is best viewed with Netscape 3.0/4.0/4.5 - though you can get by with anything if you have to.

    B) This site is best 'not' viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Why? Because we hate 'em.

    C) The pages are set up for a 14 inch monitor, so if you see any of the background patterns repeating themselves on the right hand side of your monitor, just drag your browser window in a little till they don't.

    D) Because some of the pages can be accessed from different places, I decided not to put links on them. If you find yourself on a page with no links - like the lyric pages for example - simply use the 'back' button on your browser to go back one step. Or better yet, just bookmark this page so you never lose it.

    E) If you're an internet novice, have fun.

    F) That's enough viewing instructions. (WebMaster)
